MUDGEE WINERIES & CELLAR DOORS

Situated on the western slopes of the Great Dividing Range, Mudgee has some of the highest vineyards in Australia, ranging from 450 – 1180m above sea level. The Mudgee wine region dates back to 1858, initially growing shiraz, cabernet sauvignon and chardonnay. Now the region produces over 44 grape varietals from more than 35 cellar doors.
